If you look at Sherm deal compared to what some of these schmucks got this offseason, he is at a great value.

You guys do have some really big deals coming up though.

I wouldn't say its a great value I'd say he's paid about right. His contract averages out to $14m a year. Makes sense for Meatrattle but not a lot of other teams put as much of an emphasis on their corners so I don't think theres a lot of teams that would pay that much for a corner.

This takes nothing away from Sherman because he is elite. But that is the perfect system for him, and Thomas is far and away the best safety in the league

Agreed, more teams are copying that style but it's still only a handful of teams. That said, the chargers should trade for him and draft Adams/Hooker. Instant elite secondary.
