Be it albums or singles...what caught your ear?

Main takeaways:
Busta Rhymes has been so good for so long, more than 30 years from Leaders of the New School to current day, this guy doesn't get the respect he deserves. Kane is still GOAT status, that flow, so smooth. Conway might just be one of my favorite current rappers. That whole Griselda camp is legit.

So I'm listening to the new Westside Gunn tape. Guess who pops up and bodies it, again.

I'm telling you. Busta Rhymes.

Currently digging this new compilation, Bound for Hell: on the Sunset Strip.

It's not mindblowing stuff but a cool snapshot of the scene.

New Morris Day came out a week or so ago. He'll be retiring after his 2023 tour so appreciate greatness.

New Pistol Pazzy dropped today. He did it again.

The new 38 Spesh/Harry Fraud also came out but I still need to get into that one.

Bellevue by The Bobby Lees is probably gonna be my pick for album of the year unless there are some big surprises in the next month and a half. Just good no-frills rock and roll.

Second place has to go to Ants From up There by Black Country, New Road. Absolutely gorgeous record.

I've been impressed with the newest Interrupters album, just like the previous one. The production is sensational and they can write the fk out of a chorus.

For my indie bros.. these 22 albums have been solid.

Magic City Hippies
Broken Bells
Spoon
Coin
Arctic Monkeys
Hippo campus

I like these Bobby Lees. Bellevue is my introduction to them and I got White Stripes vibes, then I read there's the Vance Powell connection, makes sense. Saw that their previous record was produced by Jon Spencer, I'll be checking that one out as well.

Couple months ago Iggy featured on the new Catherine Graindorge EP

Now he's back with a new rocking single.

Appreciate legends while they're living. God bless Iggy Pop.

how is Iggy supposed to Bless himself?

Heavy Psych trio King Buffalo from Rochester here in my home state of New York released in September Regenerator which is my album of the year. Simply put it is Heavy Psych perfection

The new album Innate Passage by Massachusetts group Elder

Heavy Psych band out of Norway Kanaan released their new album Diversions Vol. 1: Softly Through Sunshine yesterday and it is amazing. Some really innovative instrumental psych
