Media New Poatan sparring footage

Speed and accuracy, but most important - control. You never feel like Poatan is going to get angry even if he gets tagged

I remember seeing his pad work years ago before he joined and thinking man, this is impressive stuff

This isn't new

He seems like he’ll be a great trainer after he retires from fighting, an immense wealth of sparring experience
Really? Seems a lot more like his style is very dependent on his physical attributes and most people would get KO'd trying to replicate it. Standing pretty flat with low hands and chin up flopping out calf kicks without turning hips over would end terribly for almost anybody else.

Yeah I’m sure he wouldn’t have any good tricks to pass on.

Khamzat accepted his callout for a grappling match, why hasn't Pereira responded? 🤔
A grappling match? Does anyone think Khamzat wouldn't completely dominate a guy who spent majority of their career as a kickboxer?

I wonder how Khamzat would respond to the idea of facing Alex in a KB match.

i hope they don't give him ulberg ... it would be a waste of poatans final years in the sport

That actually seemed like they were having fun and just enjoying testing eachother and working on techniques and head movement.

It's lame that people always have to exaggerate for clicks.

Explain. I actually make a conscious effort to not do that.

Isn’t this old footage from before the first Ank fight?

Thats high level sparring. They both land while holding back in a controlled manner
