Hey guys.
Last Friday I was electrocuted at a large restaurant which I wont name on here for obvious anonymity reasons. This case is in Canada but your information may still be useful if you're American. I was out with 3 friends and my girlfriend for her birthday and at our booth the baseboard heater electrically exploded and my leg was touching it and I was electrocuted and was numb from the knee down for 3 days, as well as muscle cramping and difficulty walking. It wasn't a little zap it was a full out flash and sounded like a fire cracker. We then complained to manager and were treated extremely condescending to the point I had to request a superior manager to complain about the one who was dealing with us. I then spent the night waiting at the emergency to get checked out. I want to know how I would go about taking legal action towards this large chain restaurant and if I have a case??? How would I go about this? I have written statements from all involved. I have no physical burning however but was numb and cramping from the knee down for 3 days.
