it's for college work but I want something in keeping with current gaming, must be able to play FF7 remake, MW2.There's never any guarantee that they will to their specs e.g my current laptop runs Genshin impact fine but compare the spec requirment it says I can't

So I picked this up for myself on Black Friday. I haven’t got much time to play it yet as I’m trying to keep its existence a secret till after I give my wife a new MacBook for Christmas, but from what time I’ve spent playing games I’m happy with it so far. Decent power at a decent price (that price is in Canadian dollars). This is the current price. I got it $100 cheaper for Black Friday, but even at the below price I think it’s a good deal.

Sales are popping off.

On the budget side, if you don't mind a larger 17.3" to lug around. Slickdeals flagged it. With coupon code AFFIRM15PC it is $780.

Another step up, especially framerate. Probably been the bestselling gaming laptop line for 6-7 years, now. Its entry point has gotten more costly, but these specs are solid for the price:

The first one will run anything.
Crap, you're over in the Netherlands. Lead with that next time.

Your website is telling me that one is "retired", and never to be in stock again.

If you're trying to stay under €1000 then this one:

Slightly more for an RTX 3060 variant, but a 3060 is not required to run any of those games:

Do you have a price cap? That’s going to drive the conversation.

There’s a lot to consider with laptops. Like what size do you want? Do you want it as thin and light as possible or do you not care? What kind of specs do you want in the screen?

Another often overlooked factor is build quality. A lot of times you’ll see some laptops significantly cheaper than others with the same specs. Often times that’s due to cheaper build quality. Stuff like does it have a cheap plastic frame or a nice metal frame? Keyboard and track pad quality. Cooling.

Laptops are a bit of a purchasing quagmire. Once you have a few in mind you should definitely research them thoroughly and try to find multiple reviews for any you’re considering before buying.
