I wouldn't say pointless. Seeding and home court does still matter to most teams, however, I understand what you are saying about the best record not being indicative of who is going to win it all. Still though, the Nets shouldn't be favored like that at this point, especially not elevated to the odds of the team with the best record in the NBA when they are a barely above .500 (31-27) team.

Yea and I'm pretty sure if he wins the scoring title this year he will join Michael Jordan as the only player in history to win a NBA Championship, MVP, Finals MVP, DPOY, and a Scoring Title in a career.

I'm actually really pissed with these injuries in the West. Denver would be so tough with Jamal Murray, Porter Jr in the mix. Clippers don't have Kawhi/ George for the rest of the year that's insane.

It's ridiculous that some Pundits still have KD over him. KD may be the more Lethal Shooter but Giannis is more punishing to the Rim and is playing at an elite level on defense, I've never seen a guy this good get dissected as much.

Porter Jr's contract is going to be a big setback for the franchise, his durability was a big question mark going all the way back to college and gambling on his potential may come back to haunt them.

That's how I know he's taken a step back in this ERA of increased scoring if this was the Bern of 5 years ago he wouldn't be missing games and they wouldn't be sub .500 , who knew Gayd would win him less games than Tristan Thompson could.
