Watched this movie 10 times in the theaters back then, I enjoyed it so much!
Such a beautiful love story set against the backdrop of a rapidly exploding Earth and a wild group of never say die roughnecks blasting off into space to try and save us all
The rough and gruff yet also sweet and caring group of misfit characters are endearing, the plot is interesting and its impossible not to get wrapped up in the kick ass adventure as it moves along
Movie is full of laughs and knuckle tensing chaos with some great special effects
What a masterpiece of emotion and bad ass action this film is
And it gave us one of the great love songs of all time to boot

My favorite part of that is how up to that point the entire time Harry is rolling his eyes at the NASA guys embarrassed of how his crew acts. Then when Bear is up dancing you can see him getting on it too. “Show that shit!!!” <Lmaoo><Lmaoo><Lmaoo>

There are like a dozen main characters and by the end you care about what happens to every single one of them. If a movie makes you care about even 1 then it’s done it’s job. It’s a fun movie!

This was a great movie. Not my favorite space movie that would be Alien but this is up there. It has everything you want in a movie. Lot a feels, action, big stars, good score. It's take you on a wild ride.
