Whats Good Everyone? My friends & I will be moving to Houston, TX later this year & were just wondering if anyone knew of any good Muay Thai Gyms in the area. If anyone can recommend any? I personally wont be doing Muay Thai, I'll be training at Kenny Weldon's Texas World Class Boxing Gym & Draculino's Gracie Barra BJJ School but my friend did some Muay Thai in the Kansas City area & he wants to train when we go down there.

Thanks in advance.

There's a traditional Muay Thai gym called Miichaj Muay Thai and they teach Mae Mai Muay Thai and Muay Boran techniques. It's right next to Westside Tennis Club. Here's the website for more info miichajmuaythai.com. hope this helps!:icon_chee

Thanks man, I texted my friend the website & information. Also looked into a different thread & saw that many people recommended Kru Pong Muay Thai. Is that school still open, I couldn't find a website? If it is, then it will be between those 2 schools probably.

i read 20 pages of your thread last night trying to figure out if you're a troll.

There are a number of good places to train in Houston. One of them is Gracie Barra The Woodlands, which has three locations spread out around the northeast side of Houston.

Gracie Barra The Woodlands - Spring - Conroe - Magnolia - South Africa

The Muay Thai classes are taught by WEC/Dream veteran Todd Moore and head Muay Thai coach Krew Ali Alhalabi. Lewis Wood (from Kenny Weldon's school) also teaches boxing there a few times a week.

Chad Robichaux is the head BJJ coach and there are numerous Black Belts that teach there.

Someone i know from my MMA/BJJ gym goes to kru pong, it seems to be a pretty good place to train.
