Lets say you are the Boss of a crime syndicate. You need to arm your goons with some punch, but is small and relatively concealable. What gun do you choose?

I could only come up with MP5K, Mac10, Tec 9, mini uzi and the FMG 9 (the auto glock that folds into a flashlight)

If you know anymore little guns that dish out the pain, do. I like to know of them.

P90. Inside 100 yards ballistics are very similar to 5.56x45mm, compact, large magazine, similar in size and weight to MP5K.

Maybe MTAR-21, but a little bigger.

MTAR-21 has virtually eliminated the rationale for sub-machine guns. Subs use pistol ammunition which are on average 1/3 to 1/5 the energy of an Assault Rifle. The MTAR-21 with 5.56 NATO is around 3 times more energy than your typical submachine gun, but you get the form factor of a submachine gun.

On a 5-man squad, arm two with MAC10's for some punch and arm three with MAC11's for concealment.

MAC10 guys + one MAC11 guy are first in, spray the room.

The two MAC10 guys then proceed to door/escape route cover.

The other two MAC11 guys join the first MAC11 guy, stay for clean up/interrogation/thievery then escape.

Haha.

Is that almost as big as an MP5? I am not talking just any sub gun, but one that is easily concealable in your clothes. The MP5K is basically an MP5 but can be hidden away on person. If you a crime syndicate, you don't want to open carry, but you also don't just want shitty pistols.

Prolly, depending on the scenario, Mac10s, (because the looked cool in Escape from New York, and McQ) Assorted handguns, Some sawed off short ass M16 and AK variants. Sawed off Shotguns for the near sighted goons.

I'd buy'em cheap ammo too, no need to waste money.

MP40-just listen

I'd equip my crew with the P90.

MP5 would be my choice. Uzis are notoriously inaccurate.

none of them, i can't take this seriously

if forced to choose between any of those, even just to own recreationally, i wouldnt even consider any but the mp5

MP5 is a great machine. A friend of my brother's was in the DEA and let me shoot his full auto. Only time I've ever got to shoot a fully automatic weapon.

It was far and away the best in its class for 20 years, but it is 40 years old now, and sub guns have evolved quite a bit--better cartridges, more compact, higher capacity, and just as reliable and accurate.

Or so I've read.

All the guns I mentioned have been notoriously showcased in 80s and 90s action movies as the go-to gun for the organized crime syndicate because their sleekness, concealibility make them look cool.

But has there been any further development of that particular category of guns? Are there any new ones out there?

absolutely.

The P90 is a 50 round capacity carbine that is shorter overall than the MP5 with comparable accuracy and reliability

the calico is a 9mm 50 round subcompact with a telescoping stock that is smaller than the MP5K.

Generally, people discovered that micro-uzis and mac-11s were worthless because they couldn't handle full-auto recoil and pistol rounds are inferior to rifle/carbine cartridges.
