I actually lost interest in Deiveson Figueiredo after that second fight. He not only got destroyed, he got his soul taken.

Figueiredo acts like this menacing bad ass, but he wilted under the pressure.

In stark contrast, "baby-faced" Brandon Moreno looks like a creampuff, but is actually fiercely determined. They are basically complete opposites to one another.

Moreno is loose, confident, and textbook.
Figueiredo clenches his fist, telegraphs his punches, and tries too hard for a knockout with each punch he throws.

Moreno sees what Figueiredo is going to do, from a mile away. That he also beat Figueiredo on the ground, tells me Deiveson Figueiredo has no way to beat Brandon Moreno.

Would much rather see Edwards vs. Masvidal.

What's happened to Moreno is beautiful to watch. He always had that warrior spirit under that giggly personality. He just wasn't good enough. He's worked on his overall game (especially his boxing) and now he's a champion. Forget all the instagram/social media garbage, it's the fighters and the fights that make this sport great.
