If Khamzat fought Usman instead of Burns at UFC 273, I think Usman wins at that juncture for sure. However, even today, with full health/training camps, at 170 lbs, I just barely lean Usman (conditioning and striking defense).
Under these circumstances, I lean Khamzat to win by stoppage or split decision.
That said, this match-up is so volatile, that even though its close, either fighter could win spectacularly or make it look easy. Khamzat getting folded is definitely on the table--and so is Khamzat doing to Usman what the latter did to Woodley to win the WW title.
So, what outcome do you think is more likely: Khamzat getting KO'd or Volk winning? I think it's the former by a very close margin.
