Not sure if this happened to anyon eelse, but did you gusy have any angles that you just missed the ending or not sure what happened?

I was watching a shoot video, and it reminded me of one angle of my fav as a kid: Jimmy Valliant!

He was fueding wiht Adrian Street, and I recall seeing a clip of Kamala interrupting their big match and attacking both of them, leaving them both busted up in the middle of the rign.

I have no idea why Kamala got involved nor what happenend next with the three of them.

I used to watch non-WWF on Cleveland channel 43 which did not always come in so maybe I just missed it. I recall looking for it in the wrestling mags but never found it.

Do you guys have any similar experiences?

Weird when you think about it, eh?

I remember the 1984 Summer Valiant/Jones/Street/Assassin/Kamala angle pretty well. Well, basically Valiant/Jones/Street. He left pretty quick after the turn, but there was a lot of guys in/out of JCP at that time

January 1984, Valiant was attacked by Paul Jones and The Assassins. They tied him to the wrestling ring ropes so that Jones could cut his beard off. This led to a grudge match with hyped supershow called 'Boogie Man Jam '84' in Greensboro, North Carolina. For this match, Dusty Rhodes was in Valiant's corner and tied by a rope to Paul Jones. Valiant defeated Assassin II, who was unmasked and revealed as Hercules Hernandez. Due to the beard cutting attack, he feuded heavily with Paul Jones and his army of wrestlers, from 1984 through to late 1986. This army of wrestlers included The Barbarian, Baron von Raschke, Teijo Khan, and The Assassins.

By 1983, Jones had largely retired from in-ring competition due to accumulated back injuries.[2][10] That year, Jones developed a gimmick of wearing tuxedos, and created an angle in which he held a contest in which a large poster of himself dressed in a white tuxedo would be awarded as a prize to the winner. This led to a memorable episode of Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling, in which the winner of the poster was revealed to be a young, attractive woman. As she walked onto the ringside set to claim her prize, she attempted to embrace Jones with a kiss as her way of thanking him; but Jones backed away quickly and proceeded to berate her violently. Rufus R. Jones then came to the lady's rescue, and was attacked by Paul. Paul then shoved the terrified young lady between himself and Rufus to block Rufus' defensive attack. This angle led to a brief feud between Paul Jones and Rufus R. Jones.

In the mid-1980s, Jones began a lengthy (and perhaps his most famous) feud with Jimmy Valiant. The feud culminated in a hair versus hair match in November 1986 that was won by Valiant.

At the insistence of André the Giant, Kamala debuted in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in July 1984

So, as best as I can tell -
Kamala's involvement was incidental and/or brief, as he left for the WWF right after.
Jones turned Street face, but mostly feuded with Valiant.

Whoa. This database thing is awesome. You can track the matches of the relevant parties in that time period (June 84 onward)

"Who killed Vince...(or at least who blew up his car, because nobody believed he was Kayfabe dead)"

I get why they dropped the angle...but would've been cool to see how it played out.

I also liked the anonymous raw gm, especially when it was stuff like you mentioned with Edge. At times they went full on troll, lets mess with this person and we can hide behind the screen.
