Anyone have any experience with one of these? They've been out for years. They make them for many popular pistol models. You put your pistol in there and it locks it in. They make many different colors. Supposedly they work great.

I'm thinking about getting one. Keep it in my trunk or behind the seat in my truck.

My buddy had one for a S&W SDVE-9mm I gifted him for his birthday. I messed around with it in person, but not at a range. Seemed really cool. Looked to be solid. He said it was shooting great at 50yrds with his optic.

No hands on actually shooting though.

I got a Taurus G2C I'm thinking about putting in the Micro Roni. It's a decent pistol but I don't mess with it anymore. With a Micro Roni, that Taurus will be nice.

I might get that kit. I'm going to go see if they got them at the big gun store tomorrow to see in person before I order one.

I had something similar once.

Its somewhat better than the pistol itself, but not as good as a real carbine.

It was a rather mediocre experience.

Its like there's a place for a pistol and place for a carbine, (pistol caliber or otherwise)

This is not as concealable as your pistol, and won't shoot on the level of a carbine.

If it was a submachinegun that would put it in its own category.

But at best its turning your pistol into a shit level carbine.

And usually these things are expensive too.

This is an opinion like any other, individual mileage varies.
