Which do you prefer. I buy the mexican coke in glass bottles all the time and they taste better than the cokes you get in cans or plastic bottles. I dont know what they put in it over in Mexico but its just better to me. Anyone know why they taste different.

But which do you prefer.

Mexican cokes taste better.

Same with Mexican hookers... just a bit sweeter and more bang for the buck...

I prefer the kind that goes good with hookers.

Puerto Rican hookers are better. Chances are you'll have to defend yourself from a knife attack afterwards. Much more exciting.

Mexican coke has what coke used to have years ago, cane sugar. US coke now has some crappy sweetener. Mexican coke was planning on switching to the crappy sweetener but the Mexican coke market of people weren't having it.

EDIT: The crappy sweetener is high fructose corn syrup.

I don't know if I've had mexican coke or if the formula is actually different (I doubt it, probably just the quality/source of ingredients), but I love coke in glass bottles. Same as beer in a freezer cold mug.

I think it's just a temperature thing to me.

its about 10 bucks a gram last time I visited Michoacan compared to 40 here in Cali

from the bottom of the link

Update:*Coca-Cola*released a statementright around the time this post went up clarifying that this tragic change only applies to Coke distributed in Mexico. Our precious stateside Mexican Coke will continue to be sweetened with 100 percent cane sugar. Crisis averted

so it is just cane suger vs sweetneer type thing

Never tried Mexico Coke ... but I hate America Coke, it always surprises me when I try it and it differs from Canadaland Coke

Here is the lowdown on coke.

Mexico coke is better, b/c it uses cane sugar, actually in most every other country Coke is made with cane sugar as well. Why? b/c in the US, we over produce corn. Corn feeds cows, and we Frankenstein this veg to somehow make sugar in the form of HFCL (high fructose corn syrup), which is inferior.

HOWEVER it is way cheaper to use HFCL than cane sugar cuz of domestic vs. importing cane sugar, blah blah blah.

So how do you get mexican coke? you can get it imported from any mexican grocer, just double check and look at the ingredient list that you see SUGAR and NOT HFCL.

There are times when Coke produces Coke in the US with cane sugar, usually on passover, or that jewish holiday, whatever Kosher thing is, they need Coke to be Sugar, so it is usually in a glass bottle with a blue cap.
