DC is a legend in the sport, a two division champion, who fought and beat most of the toughest guys in the division. People forget but he was nicknamed "The Black Fedor." DC is thought of as one of the nice guys of the sport and his in cage accomplishments are well documented. I would like to focus on memorable DC moments outside the cage.

The Infamous Jon Jones Question

Never forget that DC answered "I'm still here" to the Jon Jones question "Hey pussy are you still there?" Linguistically speaking answering yes to this question is admission to being a "P-word." It might have been the biggest highlight from all the pre-fight press. Another bonus moment is DC saying "I wish they'd let me next door so I could spit in your face." Followed by Jon threatening to kill DC. Good times!

Nathan Relax!

DC tries to be the type of guy that is liked by everyone. He made some comments about Mike Tyson that were seen as negative and Nate Diaz insulted DC by calling him a 'fat m-fer' DC then replied with "Nathan Relax!" I don't know about you but I read that tweet in a high pitched DC voice.

DC is triggered by Jake Paul

DC wants to be seen as an elder statesman of MMA. Dana White has said that he does everything the right way and is the epitome of what a MMA fighter should be. As well all know, Jake Paul is a youtuber and a novice boxer who has been beating and knocking out former UFC champions and contenders. Jake Paul attended a UFC event and DC took it upon himself to leave the commentary booth to confront him. DC thought he was standing up for MMA and the fans but it just came across looking weak and sad. Similar to an old man yelling at kids to get off his lawn.

DC is hurt by Cruz

DC and Cruz are apparently friends and co-workers. Cruz called out DC's commentary skills and said he was unprepared, lazy, and didn't do his homework. Cruz said DC would show up to work unprepared and lost. DC was hurt by these comments which caused them to have an impromptu therapy session where DC expressed his hurt and pleaded with Cruz to not say these things in public. DC stood for Delicate Comrade that day.
