@Deorum Shots fired with the mythology meme. I don’t even know where to start.

The greeks are of the Indo-European tradition and their religion traces back to the near east. I.E. the sky father myth wasn't even uniquely theirs.

The italics and latins had proto-european pagan religions before encountering Greek culture in the southern Italian peninsula.

The Greeks who were culturally more advanced would attribute barbarian gods to being misappropriation of their own gods. Thus, if you showed up and said I believe a God lives in the sky they'd say ah yes that's our big homie Zeus, what do you call him? Jupiter? It's settled that's the same dude!

Greek culture and religion prevailed over mid-late Rome and when the Roman's spoke of the God's they were speaking directly of the same God's the ancient Greeks worshipped. It wasn't any more a copy that a Spanish man and German both being Christians.

Do you have a better indexing of the greek God's than the latin Metamorphosis?
