I for some reason thought he was retired, but Manhoef if fighting again coming up.

Though he never reached the pinncale of the sport, Melvin is the epitome of the kill or be killed fighter.

29 of 32 wins coming by knockout (highest percentage of anyone with over 15 wins)

Some of the scariest offense I have ever seen in over 20 years of watching the sport.

Let us all appreciate the wildness and violence that he brought to the sport.

A true Prophet of the Just Bleed God.

Also I didn't see this mentioned, may have missed it.

"On 29 March 2022, Manhoef and other neighbourhood residents apprehended three alleged burglars who had targeted his home near Amsterdam. He stopped the men from fleeing in a car by performing a PIT maneuver, and then, with the assistance of neighbours, detained the suspects until police arrived. Manhoef gave a statement to police afterwards, although legal ramifications of his actions are unclear.[46]"

Manhoef beating the ever living shit out of Robbie Lawler only to get clipped by the only punch thrown by Robbie is vintage Manhoef. If Melvin had a chin he would have been a world champion.

Nostalgia is a motherfucker, watching Strikeforce at its peak, with Robbie and Manhoef, and EA MMA announced on the canvas, is just beautiful.

Melvin Manhoef's best fight, IMO. If you havent seen this classic, you need to watch right now.

Lol @ Manhoef listed as 6'1 what?
Classic fight tho, Manhoef one of my all time favorites.

I cant believe more people dont have an appreciation of the pure violence guys like Manhoef, Ninja, Hansen, or Kharitonov brought. Very underappreciated fighters.

People now seem like they'd rather hear fighters talk about ppv numbers and social media followers, it's sad.

And ás for the Glory days, it's not even close

It was far and away, the best era for all MMA.

One of my favorite fights of all time. I actually watched this live on a very early version of online streaming called sopcast. The quality would be considered unwatchable today. We didn't even have Cage Rage in my country but I couldn't get enough MMA at the time and Cage Rage was making some noise back then so I seeked it out.

Is Yoel gonna stand with him?

I want to give Manhoef more than a 0 percent chance.

Romero sometimes has very little fight IQ.
If he takes him down it should be a wash.

But WAR Manhoef, It'd be a perfect way to go out of the game.

Reminds me when I LISTENED to the pride event where Kerr Self Koed.

These punks nowadays have no idea what we had to go through.
