I couldn't find one pic of McGregor with all his belts so he gets two:

And now Mayweather:

Who's belt collection shows they are the better fighter?

Boxing has wayyyyy more divisions than mma +different sport.

Apples to Oranges.

Conors shows he is the better fighter as he is a great mixed martial artist, not some bum with brittle hands

Doesn't boxing have a ton of divisions and several major boxing organisations boxers can win titles in?

Yes, but which collection do you feel is more valuable from a fighter / ass kicker standpoint? I find it tough to decide the UFC belts are tough to get very few people have gotten more than one weight division UFC belt. Yet Mayweather has accomplished an amazing collection too.

It's not a matter of number of belts. It's a matter of being the better fighter. And Conor has clearly shown to be superior lately. Let's take their respective latest fights for comparison: Conor DESTROYED and humiliated his opponent, the reigning champ - Floyd won a boring decission vs a nobody that left people around the world dissapointed.

Conor > Mayweather.

What's the use of having belts if you don't defend them Conor fans?

>HOF'er, Top 5 GOAT candidate, 49-0, Combat Sports largest draw of all time

>MMA fad hype, selective match ups, arguably 1-2 in his last three

>Implying you need to compare belt collections to determine better fighter

Real fighting belts > pillow fighting belts

Conor has one victory over an elite opponent and that is Jose Aldo. His next best opponent is Chad Mendes. Floyd beat Shane Mosley, Pac Man, De La Hoya, Márquez, Cotto, Canelo, Corrales etc etc. Floyds belts and records are worth way more. Not to mention that the skill level to be a top boxer is way higher as it is a longer established sport with a way deeper talent pool.

WBC and WBA titles have longer history 1963 & 1921 respectively. Holding a title from those orgs are more legitimate than a UFC title.
Even considering the recent history of boxing sanctioning bodies. UFC is one org in a sea of MMA organizations. There are less crossover fights in MMA than boxing.
MMA doesn't even have an official sactioning body, it's a bunch of fight clubs , so no much comparison IMO.

McGergor would look more legit if he actually defended his MMA title rather than go after a cash grab fighting Mayweather.

Apples to Oranges.
Seems like a new belt ever 2-4 pounds.

Excessive amount of weight classes so everyone can be billed as a champ.

Both are fruits that are about the same size. Both can be sweet (or a bit sour) and cost about the same. Both have vitamin C and fiber. It's worth comparing.
