The cringe factor makes it more enjoyable.
Sometimes I start laughing while I sing, especially if the lyrics get repetitive.
I can hear myself getting sarcastic and almost bursting into laughter in that Oasis song. Although I do like that song, but it's too low for me and I had trouble hitting some of those low notes and almost started laughing imagining what it was going to sound like when I uploaded it to Vocaroo.

I turned one off before the lyrics even started.
 
It has been a while since anyone posted in this thread, but I figured I would bump it back up to the top with rendition of Just My Type by Saint Motel. First attempt, no instruments, no backup vocals, no layering, and I recorded it with my iPhone while I was driving in my truck... so go easy on me!!

Alright guys, I'm going balls-out, here. Try not to kick me in the nuts too hard.

Both are a cappella solos with zero enhancement, recorded on my iphone in my garage or my truck (while driving). IMO, both songs are very difficult for the average male to sing. They certainly test my vocal abilities to the limits.

I will post another tomorrow, as well. Again... these are all first or second attempts, with zero singing experience. I really do want to get a vocal coach in the near future to help me with my obvious issues with vocal stamina.
