I don't think it will last very long. Not that Mauro doesn't know his stuff, but I think he will get fed up with the product. He flipped out on the Score post-RAW program a good three or four years ago, tearing apart the show in every conceivable way and quit that program. I can only imagine what he will be like being in the eye of the hurricane lol.

Huge move. Ranallo got his start in All-Star Wrestling in Canada and commentated for Stampede Wrestling even. This is great for him, he was made for Pro Wrestling.

LOL at the idiots thinking this is good. He's just going to be another bitch getting screamed at by Senile Vince. A complete and utter waste or Mauro's talent.

lmao oh my god
i remember watching him on aftermath and he'd just bitch about everything lmao, even the others on the show expected his bitching xD
but gotta be honest, it's been nice seeing renee get into the wwe and arda ocal, now ranallo
good stuff

Mauro is the man, pity that it's SD! (and that WWE sucks in general).

If he's actually allowed to call the matches, he'll be good. If they want him there to be a TMZ announcer, who gossips and talks about everything but the match, he won't be there long.

WWE can't be blind to the fact that their current direction is hurting them. Maybe hiring a real commentator is the first step for some change in the company.

Last week I was just thinking to myself it would be great if he went to NXT. But we'll see what happens.

Bring in Barnett with him, they work well together.

Dude, it would be amazing if they brought Josh to NXT as a wrestler and a commentator. Then soon after, merge NXT and Smackdown together for a more serious alternative to Raw. Kind of like 2003 Smackdown. They could still exchange talent, but remain separate entities that run differently. It's a pipe dream, though. They would fuck it up.

Didn't know Frank Shamrock is Maruo's agent.. and worked this deal.

According to Meltzer on the LAW

Like this move, interesting to see how long he can last listening to Vince scream in his ear.

I'm actually super interested to see how this goes. I've got my money on him being hamstrung by needing to fit in all the pre-decided talking points about things that aren't actually happening at that time, but I hold out hope.

Not sure I could take "Mama mia!!!" Every week.
