That style isn't understood by the textbook and basic/fundamental style fighters. They all hate that style of fighting. It's part of feints and set-ups/baiting and most fighters don't know how to do any of that. It's really more for advanced fighters, because if you can do stuff like that during an actual fight, it's because you feel comfortable enough to do it.

Slick style boxers for example fights like that and the textbook/fundamental style boxers hate it and don't understand it as well. They also have a hard time beating that style of boxing, primarily it's because they don't understand it and can't do it. Slick style boxing, a lot of what they do is to take advantage of holes in textbook/fundamental styles of boxing.

That's classic. I wasn't much of a Rashad fan but he had some golden moments during his career. That exchange with Rampage where he throws a hook, ducks, then double legs him to the ground with ease, is one of the greatest sequences ever in MMA.
