Economy Massive Verizon Outage affecting over 2 million people

Massive Verizon outages has been going on since 12 noon and is affecting millions across the Country. This is unfortunate because people who are relying on transportation found themselves unable to call to get it. There has not been anything like it in over a decade.

Verizon said Wednesday that its wireless service was suffering an outage affecting cellular data and voice services.

The nation's largest wireless carrier said its "engineers are engaged and are working to identify and solve the issue quickly."


Verizon issued its statement after a swath of social media comments directed at it, with users saying their mobile devices were showing no bars of service or "SOS," indicating a lack of connection.

Widespread Verizon outage prompts emergency alerts in Washington, New York City

New York State Assembly member Anil Beephan has called on the Federal Communications Commission to investigate the hourslong service outage.

For reals to, it is so weird. I am on Verizon and my phone works. My parents are on a different plan and my moms phone doesn’t work, my dads does. A few others I know don’t have service, but my neighbor does.

Seems like more of a mayberry thread than a WR thread, but I still don't have service. The service bars were X'd out since lunch, and last few hours it does show bars but doesn't actually work and doesn't have the 5G thing next to it.
