In the future/alternate universe. And there have been many jokes about Hugh in Deadpool. The only thing that makes me take this as more than a joke is the logo used for deadpool 3.

Would make sense. Wolverines been re cast for the MCU...... but having Jackman in it as an actor cameo to touch on the running gag would work.
