still bugs me we have a ton of wrestlers in mma and none of them purposly take their opponents head or side to the cage and use it to help with control and gnp. mark coleman and randy coture figured this out ages ago yet only khabib is doing it and everyone thinks he reinvented the wheel.

If Mark Colemans Wheel is made of Wood, then Khabibs wheel is made of Stone. But people act like its Diamond. harsh analogy, but to me it makes sense. i probably cant articulate it the way i want

i never said they act like khabib invented it, but they act like because hes trapping wrists and getting to the back that hes on some other worldy level. i dont think his top game is overrated its master class, but im surprised more people arnt doing it, its not some overly complicated top game and its perfect for control and sapping opponents. it should be everyones gameplan that can wrestle imo

He should get such much more attention. He is one of the fighters I respect most. He didn't age well - the fight mileage is real. He was into so many wars with other fearless juiced warriors. Much respect for him! Goosebumps when he started to cry because of his kids. What a goat.
