No he cuts eye diameter before a fight.......

No he cuts eye diameter before a fight.......

I feel like it's one of those things where you remember from a kids perspective, and things looked bigger than they actually are, so at adult sized it seems tiny and not normal.
Don't think this qualifies in the 'mandela effect' category. This is an individual phenomena, not group oriented.
I've had this experience before myself, also with coinage. My take is that it's a physical equivalent of a brain fart. Like when you forget knowing the meaning of/having ever heard a very common word and gapping out for a moment until it comes back to you. It's a lapse in memory for sure. In the case of the quarter, a lapse in muscle memory imo. I've had this sensation around other objects as well, believing them smaller than usual when in fact the size had not changed.
Deterioration of some kind of memory skill, likely as a result of aging.

Phone booths aren’t real either
That's a cool story, and fair. Normally I've just attributed to larger scale but the premise can certainly work at just a couple of people too I suppose.I’ve been using quarters every other month man, it’s not like I hadn’t handled them since childhood.
Actually I saw some quarters yesterday on their own and they seemed more aligned to what I expect a quarter’s size to be. Right after I asked a friend if he’s noticed a change and he says no and takes some quarters out of his pocket.
Weird.
Me and the dealer shared the same expression so it could qualify as a Mandela effect.
It’s more notable the bigger the group but Carl Jung shared a ME experience with a companion when he visited a baptistery in Ravenna in 1913 and they both saw these beautiful mosaics depicting a religious scene but when he sought out memorabilia of them after the trip he realized they didn’t actually ever exist.

I only recently noticed quarters seem smaller than they used to be when I was scrounging up some change.
I gathered 4 of them to give to a poker dealer to complete $40 for a poker tournament add-on as I had $39 dollars in poker chips plus that extra dollar, and when I slid them over he took some pause and seemed to be confused and started examining the amount, I counted the chips for him along with the coins (he’s a new guy and can take a bit longer to process stuff) and he said “are these really quarters?”
Another guy at the table backed me up and said “yeah, they are.”
The dealer said “I took pause because they look small, thought they were dimes and was wondering is chill doggie pulling a fast one?”
I said:
“No bro, it’s a Mandela effect.
I also noticed recently that they are smaller now, although I only use them once in a while when I go to the self-service car wash station so I could just be misremembering.”
The poker dealer said:
“I use them every week when I go to the water mill to fill my 5 gallon water jug.”
That was freaky when he said that.
Poor circulation or blood flow can lead to a noticeable decrease in size. Over time that lack of blood flow can also atrophy tissue which leads to a shrinkage.I haven't touched a quarter for a long time.
But I could swear my penis used to be bigger
Okay since no one here is catching on this is a loosely veiled thread so you could brag about how much money you won in a tournament, I'll just ask.
How much money did you win the the tournament?
