Lupita Godinez' sister Ana loses bronze medal match at Olympics

She is tough, but she got smoked. It is not like she lost on a technicality or a ref call, which kept people like Coleman away from gold in 92 or how Karelin lost to Rulon.
Ana beat the Norwegian girl earlier this year. So not sure what happened. It could be almost anything. Your period, not feeling well, nerves, injury, etc. But you have to compete on such and such a day no matter what. You just hope you’re peaking at the right time. If not, that’s a bitter pill to swallow.

If she doesn’t mind getting punched and kicked in the face mma is the way to go. She might not be as crazy as her older sister, though.

They were born in Mexico. But moved to near Vancouver when Loopy was 13 years old.
Good stuff!

We just got back from Vancouver and absolutely loved it; great town!

she lost to this person:

Grace Jacob Bullen of Norway

lol, i chuckled at, "person".

if you are following the Olympic games period in 2024 then you really need to do more research

its political posturing

not only are the athletes and results greatly compromised but so is the cities that run these events where they dump all this money into something and then in the end it is a loss. A few at the top walk away with bags full of cash.
people need to stop paying attention to shit thats been exposed already.
Well we would have to stop watching everything, even the "honorable" UFC.

Luckily the contender series starts tomorrow night

She can get on a later event

I like Lupita. She seems like a good woman. Too bad she's an MMA fighter.

That is all true. It is hard for dudes (I did it for years). I wrestled up in weight for a few years and that was also difficult for different reasons. I cannot imagine what it is like throwing the hormones on top.

A lot of that applies to most sports lol, but we're gonna watch it anyway. Why should we not pay attention to it? Those factors mean nothing to the audience haha.

They haven't degraded. This is supposed to happen. The change is due to oxygen. The medals "degrading" like this means they're actual bronze and are of decent quality.

Have to keep them locked away from air or use a protective sealant to not have this happen.

Of course the bronze medal winner wouldn't know this, he's just a bum who couldn't even get silver

I had heard of Godinez before as a wrestling fan, but never pieced it together than they were sisters. Bullen is a tank, though. She is freakishly strong, but also got pinned from a huge throw by Motoki.
