Luis Rafael "Japa" now 27-0

These young Brazilians have done a good job padding their records.

Indeed. I'm actually all for young fighters being this active, even if that means they have to crush a can(or 20).

I believe he signed with Titan FC

Neves is the one with the big unbeaten record who signed with Bellator.

I like Titan's Brazilian signings, another interesting one here.

Do you guys EVER look at their opponent records?

Click the fight finder link and just click fighter names at random.

Serious LOL's will follow.

Utterly disgusting.

*Last opponent lost 3 in a row before him. (6-6 record)
*Opponent before that debuting while he's 25-0 entering!!!
*Before that (mind you he's 24-0 at this point, his opponent was coming off a loss and 2-2
*Before that 1-2 (While he's 23-0)
*Before that, debuting opponent vs 22-0

WTF is happening to my sport?

It's mostly Brazil, records and fights there are crazy.

There's two issues, the first is smaller fight promotions in Brazil rarely submit results and they don't really care too much about accurate record building, so the guys you see that are like 0-3 could be 12-3 or 0-12.

The second is I've noticed there isn't really a ladder of fight levels in Brazil, meaning a guy who has a 10-0 record will just fight whoever and whenever, as opposed to fighters in North America and Europe who will generally start to increase competition level the further they get into their career.

To sum it up, lots of fighters in Brazil just fight as much as they can and against whoever they can without worrying about records or level of competition.

If there are over 10 guys on that record that are better than 500, than it's impressive.. More ways to lose in MMA than Boxing.. Fight 10 guys good enough to be professional fighters in Brazil and win MORE than half their fights and BEAT them, and you probably do not suck.

^^^ XFS seems to be almost following that model. So unfortunate.

Same thing with Neves, its complete record padding.
