Seems weird how they've brought this division in at this late stage. This is the equivalent to women's lightweight. It's like as if they had brought in welterweight and featherweight first and then waited years to being in lightweight. Most of the female fighters on the roster are too big for strawweight and too small for bantamweight. This will most likely be the women's showcase division, if not the whole UFC's showcase division.
