I spent my 20s in a series of cramped apartments.. usually with roommates

That shit sucked

Last year I had an average sized single apartment. It was better having my own space

I upgraded to a loft. The first floor is like 50 feet from the front door to the balcony.. and it’s an open floorplan. High ceilings too

you can spend time to yourself without feeling claustrophobic and shit.

Anyone who rents.. just take the apartment that’s bigger and further from downtown. You’ll get your moneys worth

What's the climate like where you live?

Live in a bigger home. 5 bedrooms.
Plan was always to build & sell this family home.

Moving back to condo Feb, next year as it’s now for sale.
I prefer living in a home & not dealing with neighbors/noise or food smells & drama that happens too.
Building a 2 story home next year with a japandi style/minimalist open spaces & light…
Cluttered look/furniture is a no go for me.

Have 2 neighbors, & Corner Lot, but more elevated view vs old place. Is okay.
In Same area south of City. No plans to sell this one. Construction starts in March.
Aiming to be permanent home down the road.

Great for one, if they are tidy.
Awful for any more than 1 or most people.

Makes sense, I really liked my wide open studio apartment.
