True. The morais fight is probably my favorite ko ever and he was 24 at that time.. Imagine the guy took his career more serious but it is what it is. He had some great fights nonetheless.

Agree. If Aleks had the right motivation he could have been close to Fedors level. He was kinda like a bigger version of Fedor.

aleks. . biggest what if in mma in my opinion. Had he strayed away from his awesome fun reckless lifestyle and trained seriously he coulda been top 5 ufc right now

Aleks is probably my fav fighter.
Dude was a legit badass. He was 22 years old standing with Prime Cro Cop with no fear. Chucking leather. He beat the shit out of Barnett for 10 min before gassing hard. He was so young and raw with all the potential in the world.
I remember an interview with him back like in 06-05 Where he wanted to come to the UFC and take the belt, while his bro would be champ in Pride. He said he would take out Big Tim with ease (And he would of to). If the UFC would have signed him then he would have been champ a long time.
After Pride fell it was hard times for Aleks but it was a mixture of things in his life. Sucks man.
