Glory just issued the trailer of a 4 part documentary about Hari:

What is interesting is that fact that Glory and Spike TV are the producers of the documentary. Till today I am not aware of any fight organization produce a documentary about a fighter. It seems that it will be aired on Glory`s youtube channel. They seem to push hard in the social media to gain more viewership. In fact, Glory is doing pretty good, since it has 622K subscribers. A year ago it had half. So, if nothing else, the social media team from Glory should be congratulated.

I know that Badr is not a very popular guy on the forum but this may be a good step to boost the popularity of the sport.

Actually this is the second time he left Mike`s Gym. The article you showed was written after his first departure. His stay with his new coach was not long, however. After he declared that he left he quickly bounced back to Mike. At the press conference before Collision 2 he declared that he was back with Mike. Now, after the Benny fight I believe he made the final decision to leave Mike`s Gym for good. I don`t know what happened between the two but I think that Badr is feeling that the fight strategy of Mike does not fit him anymore.

All Badr fights in Glory followed these steps:

1.Glory hypes up Badr's return.

2.Badr posts some videos and images with the caption: " They are not Ready" on Instagram to get some hype

3. Glory will push Badr to do some corny ass press conferences that nobody cares about.

4. Come fight night we will be expecting a Badr KO/domination but will probably end up him quitting yet again.

Rinse and repeat steps 1-4 for the next Glory card that Badr is involved in.

Fair enough, but that big black patch is the birthmark. Just look at the other side of his back.

Yeah for sure, we all know that. It's almost like the hair made it darker too, it didn't use to be that dark when he was younger.

Here is the first episode:

Things I like:

1. I like that the documentary does not begin with his youth as this was already covered by other productions.
2. ....

Things I dislike:

1. Only 11 minutes long part?? This contains very few lines by Badr and his trainer. This does not seem a proper documentary but more like a commercial. This could have been a wonderful moment for Said to introduce himself to the general public.
2. There are a lot of things which should have been covered waaay more in depth, like: what went wrong with Big Mike (covered only briefly), what was the cause of his loss to Benny, how he met Said, what changed in his preparation, some moments of sparring session (general stuff, I know there is a fight coming and some sort of secrecy must be upheld) etc. A day in the life of Badr could be an idea.
3. Too much hype...way to much hype. Did I said that it tastes like a commercial?

Yeah it's labelled as a doc but it's pretty much a promo like you said.

Don't forget the Badr fanboys mocking Badr's opponents saying they have no chance and will get KO'd in the first round.

Do they show how he kicked a downed opponent in the face
on two separate occasions ?

Or how he KO'd a bouncer that wouldn't let him in restaurant for wearing
Adidas pants ? And tried to bribe the bouncer afterwards to not talk to the police ?

Or how the police found a motherload of PED's when they raided his house
after he kicked someone to be an invalid at a party ?

Worst thing is, he is like a god to many moroccan people.

Didn’t he also set some woman’s apartment on fire when he was on the payroll of that Dutch mobster?

I mean after the sport of Kickboxing in The Netherlands was branded with a very negative crime connected reputation which they have been trying to rehabilitate over the last several years, of course they ain't mentioning none of that shit Badr has done, LOL...

Best episode yet in my opinion.
Badr looks in great shape, weighing 114 kg.
