It wasn't a train heist, they robbed a security depot.

Other that that, you're right that it's one hell of a story.
 
Hopefully they do a dramatic reenactment of him knocking out Tito in the street fight

He was a loose cannon that would fly off the handle in his early days, he's fucked people right up. He wasn't a very nice fella, put it that way.

One of sherdog forums greatest moments was Murray and/or his friend telling stories about Murrays streetfights. Fighting gypsys, bullying the bullies.. Ah the good ol days. But yeah, he is a criminal and he is in jail as he should be.
 
I was so amazed by his bio that I wrote a poem about him many years ago. Here it is:

The Ballad of Lee Murray

in Abbey Wood, near Shooter's Hill
A baby boy was born in chill
It was a robbers' breeding ground
With people destined for the pound.

Brahim, his dad, would beat him and shout
Until young Lee knocked him the fuck out
Lee'd kill the fuck if he dared to stay
So Brahim packed and moved away.

Selling weed and crack cocaine
Bully, thug and barely sane
Punching people in the street
Not a dude you'd like to meet.

Lee tried his luck in MMA
He was a beast and could have stayed
Instead he robbed Securitas
Police then grabbed his sorry ass

He stayed in prison in Morocco
But Murray was a fucking loco
He tried escaping but in vain
In Salé prison he remained

Lee knocked out champ Tito Ortiz
Almost had Spider on his knees
Fucked glamour model Lauren Pope
And overall, his life was dope

But in the end he was bound to fail
And rot away in Moroccan jail
So if he still remains alive
He's leave in 2035.
 
We have some current fighters that look up to him, even though they won't admit. We see it in their actions.
 
I know he got 25 years around 2010 , anyone know when he’s eligible for parole?
