What is no doubt going to cause a rush to buy tickets to a Jazz festival is the chance to see the remaining members of Led Zeppelin in a show. Unlikely to be the Zeppelin of old but still interesting to think about the possibility.

Hopefully Mick recovers from whatever health issue he is facing.

"Over the weekend, news broke that The Rolling Stones postponed their upcoming U.S./Canada tour because Mick Jagger “needs medical treatment.” Doctors have advised Mick that he is “expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.”"

"
Perhaps the biggest fallout from the Stones’ postponed tour is the cancelation of their highly-anticipated performance at the 50th New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on May 2nd. The festival even made changes to its long-running format to accommodate The Rolling Stones’ performance, adding an additional day with a separate, more expensive ticket which quickly sold out. In the wake of the cancellation, fans have been left to wonder who might fill the headlining vacancy—and whether or not a passable substitute for one of the greatest bands in history even exists, particularly on such short notice.

Today, the festival’s organizers announced their solution, and it surely does not disappoint: Led Zeppelin will reunite to headline on Thursday, May 2nd at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival."

Well shit. Looks like I'm going to New Orleans

Good for you bro, I'm sure you won't be the only one travelling to see them. I like Led Zeppelin but not that much (and I found New Orleans kinda scary ha ha)

Legends. Would watch live, but will have to settle for a Youtube vid.

Not been into Led Zeppelin for very long, but I'd definitely like to see them perform rather than just on youtube.

That’s an improvement to say the least. Mick Jagger needs to chill out and enjoy a retirement.

I prefer Zep. Imo, it would be more interesting if Grohl played this gig, over Jason.

Saw this and expected a delayed April fools

Damn, same weekend I will be at the Memphis in May festival. I saw Page/Plant when I was a little kid the last time they toured together 20 years ago so I guess that is basically the same thing at this point.

Now if Pink Floyd were to reunite for one day, there isn't a dollar amount I wouldn't spend to see them live.

this sounds epic as fuck, sure i cant be there, hope this footage ends up on youtube or something

Aren't those the guys that ripped off Greta van fleet?

The fallout from Rolling Stones dropping out was hilarious, they basically fucked over locals by making you have to pay separately for the day of the Rolling Stones and people were already pissed about that, not to mention all the people who camped out overnight for early bird tickets.

They were in secret negotiations for like a year and everything but it's all good, Voodoo Fest is better imo. City Park looks amazing lit up in Halloween colors.

Also nola.com said it's an April Fools Prank.
