Down the only road I've ever known
As of day two, in the French region of Yorkshire:

Yellow Jersey (General): Vincenzo Nibali
Green Jersey (Points): Peter Sagan
Polka Dot Jersey (King of the Mountains): Cyril Lemoine
White Jersey (Young Rider - U-26): Romain Bardet

Mark Cavendish is out already, having fucked up and crashed 350m from the end of the course on day one, I think dislocating his collarbone.

yea, really a shame he's out but he took responsibility for the crash with dude.
he tends to lean on riders, this time it caught up with him.

I think it's bullshit the feds informed tinkoff/saxo of kruetzinger's dirty blood from two years ago a week before the tour. way to rob contador of his top leut.
smells political.
if froome wins again, it will be confirmed

So is the test for AICAR and GW1516 ready? Sky? Sky? Whatcha' gonna do when they come for?!?

I'm still mad at the lack of Colombians at the Tour. They definitely made the Giro more fun.

Also, what's with another Grand Race starting at the British Isles? Well, not that they have something to cheer on with their stellar performances at Wimbledon and the World Cup...

Hope Nibali wins. I like that cat. Fuck Sky and fuck Vroome. Valverde is a can. Cantadope is the worst.

Who are our top contenders who are most likely clean? I'd rather not waste time learning the names of dirty riders. Someone frame this in an exciting manner for me. I'm too ignorant of cycling, generally, to do it myself. Frame the drama, the narrative.

realdope would do a good job of that.

Pierre Roland. Probably a bunch of Columbians who aren't at the race.

If Sky is clean, I'll leave Sherdog for good.

Contadope is "cleaner" than he was in the past. The biopassport and his clenbuterol positive have forced him into doping only a little doping.

RE: Sky

They don't even need to put a former TdF winner on the squad after he wins. WTF?? They must know he is toxic or something.

Am i the only one watching the tour every morning? I work at a bike shop and cycling is my favorite hobby so I love the tour.
I kind of have a man crush on Sagan.

Hard to find a particular team that's clean... riders is easier, however.

Same here.

I'm shocked Sky didn't put Wiggins to run this. A lot of flat stages and the mountain ain't that punishing.

Hell, even Vuelta might be more entertaining this year than Tour.

I think everyone expected him to be in the team. Yeah, Froome's their number one, but leaving his predecessor as yellow jersey winner out completely is bizarre. I know they aren't exactly friends, but you'd think they could work together.

I'm ignoring any PED stuff unless word gets out that they're dirty.

I watch it live in the early hours and check out the prime time version later on.

With Froome's crash today, look for his form over the next few stages.
If he has a couple of bad days, he might withdraw.
He has the perfect excuse to do so, he's really banged up.
And with the fragility of these guy's condition, I mean Froome
is 6 1, 138 lbs. there is no margin for error.
Bruising and soreness can cause even a top rider to abandon.

Pave today. We'll see how his form is right away.

You don't know what his weight is, they don't disclose it.

Aaaaah!!! I can't believe I forgot about the Sherdog TdF thread. Always a favourite of mine.

And now I'm here, the cleanest defending champion since Greg LeMond is already out as well as the greatest tour sprinter of all time.

This tour is a one horse race from now I think. Barring a crash or a huge error I think Pistollero takes it with ease.

Edit: and Kittel dominates the sprints.

And Sagan dominates the green jersey.

The white jersey and mountains jersey are going to be the only thing worth watching for

Seriously though, hell of a stage today.

I'm now supporting Belkin. I like this time and would love Baulka Mollema to do something.

froome was ready to abandon yesterday IMO.
after today's two falls, it was obvious he was done.

it's nibali's race to lose at this point.
talansky back over two minutes, contador almost three.

their only chance is to grab back some time on the TT, which is not nibali's
specialty, and hope the little italian has problems in the mountains.

not likely though.

wildcard alert! SKY brings in alien DNA for Richie Porte who goes on to victory!
