Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Still playing this. I've gotten much better at combat with practice. My primary weapon is now the baliff's mace. For some reason, even though my skill level was much lower I found that I was able to do more damage with the mace, so I've stuck with it.

Here's a question.... does the Rattay tournament get more difficult each time? I've won it 4 times now, but the most recent was also the most difficult.

I was seeing a lot of stuff on my YouTube feed about the sequel coming out soon.
Most what I watched was very cool looking so I decided to check out the OG on Steam Friday and the game was free play for the weekend and all 3 versions (base ,base/dlc, and ultimate edition) are 90 percent off now.
I got like 8 hours in and I bought it for super cheap. Like 4 dollars cheap for game/dlc.
I have really enjoyed the short time I've played. I have never such a simy RPG and the menu system is daunting. The combat is different for sure, but what I gather it can be figured out and gets easier as the character stops being such a scrub. The sort of limited save style definitely has impacted my play.
Even if I burn out on it after 40 hours it's still a win for me.
Game runs great so far. No crashes, graphics look pretty damn good for a AA title from 2018, and my laptop is getting like 160 fps on ultimate settings.
Iif anyone was on the fence about the game in the past and forgot about it, the sale goes until the the 5th.
Oh, and the music is very, very good.

It's a very good game from a first time studio. Definitely has some clunkiness to it but it's a full fledged open world RPG with a fantastic story and fully realized world with well written quests, way better than the crap Bethesda is currently coming out with. Very much looking forward to the sequel.

I started a thread on the sequel a little ways back, looks incredible!

With an unlimited save mod, and adding a cursor for the bow, (must have mods IMO) I adored the game, some jank aside, there's nothing quite like it.
