Khan vs Crawford, where’s the hype?

Thing is Khan is an excellent boxer, but he just has nothing in this matchup. He’ll take the first few rounds, then get smashed. However he defo gets unnecessary shit in the UK.

This is going to flop so badly. There's tons of free fights on tomorrow.

Still very little attention for this fight here. AJ is still getting more press.

Crawford doesn't help matters. As great as he is, he just doesn't have too much personality to garner interest. I watched the countdown show and the most interesting aspect he has are his dogs.

Khan is talking about this being his last chance. If he loses, then one final big money fight against Brook in the UK.

Funny that ESPN keeps mentioning Loma and Crawford (coincidentally both on ESPN) as the hands down p4p #1 and #2 like Canelo doesn't exist.

Canelos number #1

American boxing press are fucking strange right now, they could actually be building up some real good fighters, but they just seen to want to quote from fucking twitter and instagram.

I dont think they have any journalists left who care for boxing.

If you can make RJJ into a superstar, and show him feeding and talking about his fucking chickens every 10 minutes, you can make these guys look interesting.

The showbiz and entertainment industry has really changed in recent times and become fuelled by social media. The number of followers they have, what did they put on their Instagram, who are they having a Twitter beef with etc.

Will I Am not long ago said something along the lines of if you want to be a popstar, Instagram can be more important than singing. With boxing being more entertainment driven than other sports, that applies too.

i do feel like this fight could go to the cards. crawford isn’t as big a puncher as the guys that KO’d khan. he’s likely got enough pop but a prop bet on a decision wouldn’t be silly.

I don't know.
One of my friends I always tell to get into boxing said all he keeps seeing is Crawford-Khan ads everywhere.
If you follow sports, they are advertising during games and other networks.
And on the internet of course

In lieu of using the word fat I'll just say Bud's girl is thiccccc. God damn.

Khan will box well for a few rounds, but he’ll eventually get caught by Crawford.

This is kinda dumb...that's why there's no hype.

The elites such as Crawford, Spence, Thurman would all rather fight these guys who are just good enough to test them, but not nearly good enough to win....or in Spence's case take on arguably the most overrated fighter on earth(also a midget moving up)

There's no intrigue because these aren't competitive fights....and spare me the shit about Khan resume, he's washed as fuck just looking for 1 more ppv check

All major promoters are fucking garbage, so we're left with shit fights to make sure they keep their golden goose

Khan will look good and win early rounds because of his extremely quick hands, but will fade after 6 rounds because he loses his quickness and legs and then gets caught, Crawford gets Khans timing down and stops him late in the fight.

But don't be surprised if Khan looks dangerous and rocks Crawford early.

There's some ads and build up shows, but it's just for such a big match up with a British boxer, I would expect more hype in Britain by now. That's also in comparison to Khan's previous fights.

Even against de Greco there was more hype. Shows what throwing water and talking about someone's wife can do.

Not heard much but I've been busy so not been on the forums or even at the gym

Looking forward to the fight

BT sports ppv here in England

Terrible choice
