The Khamzat Calavitta version is the scariest version of Khamzat..

They setup camps everywhere like in Thailand, UAE, Russia, Chechnya, US, and Sweden hence flying out Calavitta is the only solution.

Sam Calavitta is a gem felt like Chimaev could have gone on for hours.

I think people are over selling this

Khamzat didn't have to work very hard in those rounds

Get first take down, lay on opponent who doesn't know how to grapple

He was more tired v Usman and Burns because of the style match up and having to work harder against them..especially in the area(s) that aren't his bread and butter

He went 5 rounds but at a relatively lower cost pace for him

I can keep going longer running my 10k pace than trying to swim my 100m pace non stop because my work rate is lower and I'm more conditioned for running

Calavitta is the most American American dude that there is lol. They need to get this man a passport cause he is going on a world trip and go sight seeing and honestly he is a humble guy works from his garage but now he needs to go global and enjoy some fame.

Take him to UAE let him taste oil money, Ramazan cash plus Arman´s father need to splash on him

Holding someone down you spend alot of energy it is not easy. Everyone and his dog was counting on Chimaev to blow his load but he didn´t.

Whatever they were doing in that garage was great for Chimaev´s cardio

Na

Just worked at a slower pace, in his wheel house, against a guy who didn't know what he was doing down there

That fight doesn't tell us if his cardio improved. He went longer at a far reduced output to before

Everyone in the world can work longer when they work slower/easier

Maybe his cardio has improved, but that fight doesn't tell us that

Get outta here with this bro. This is revisionism. He worked to get his cardio better specifically for this fight and it worked.

If he did this to Dricus for 5 rounds he will be able to eat the cardio king Fluffy who is weaker then DDP for 5 rounds without getting out of the first gear

Its not revisionism

You aren't using that word correctly. You can think my view is wrong. But it isn't because of revisionism

Watch his other fights, watch this one. He isn't fighting at the same pace and he isn't fighting stand up match.

Every round he gets the takedown in first 20-30s and lays on his opponents back for most the round

Completely different fights and rates of work

100%. You cant expect big leaps in cardio at 31 unless you trained like a complete moron before. it might be a bit improved but the biggest improvement in this fight was his fight IQ.

Exactly. Buncha idiots did not see chimaev was not blowing his tank into he early rounds. He didn't try to advance position or exert much energy.

He was happy to win rounds by holding positions like the crucifix and just pepper ddp with little punches to win the round. Which I think is great for chimaev as he is maturing and improving as a fighter.

If he fights like this, nobody in 185 or 205 can beat him other than Ankalaev
