Only when he's fat. He cuts around 10-15lbs. Gomi fought at 161 which is heavier than Khabibs fighting weight.

Takanori Gomi under Kiguchi's mentorship would definitely be a tough fight for just about anyone at lightweight. Gomi, at his best, had tremendous wrestling. He continually thwarted the takedowns of a prime Kawajiri, which is pretty crazy. Kawajiri took everyone down, even Olympic wrestlers...even towards the end of his career, nobody was stuffing his takedowns.
