DJ by a thousand miles.
DJ had a better all around game. Quicker takedowns, slicker submission, boxing is better too. Khabib definetely has the best chain wrestling and heavier top game.
DJ won 12 titles, Khabib won 4.

Night and day difference.

Horiguchi is one of the most accomplished fighters ever. Look him up if you don't know. The guy was the asian DJ, and DJ murked him. DJ fights fighters mainly bigger than him when Khabib fights people usually smaller. DJ has triple the amount of top 10 wins.
Joe twice, and Dodson twice as well. And if you think Cejudo is not a good win, beating Cejudo>>>>>>>> all 29 wins from khabib. DJ's competition was definetely a higher caliber.

"Mostly nobodies" tells us more about your knowledge of this sport than about DJ's competition.

Horiguchi was a nobody? Benavidez was a nobody? Dodson was a nobody? Baugatinov was a nobody? Moraga was a nobody?

The fact you think Al Iainquinta and Gaethje are better than Horiguchi, Cejudo, or Baugatinov tells us everything we need to know.

And his competition prior matters.

Miguel Torres was a nobody? KID Yamamoto was a nobody?

Henry was green and literally lost his next fight to Joe B how is that a better win than Poirier intrem lw champion who just snapped Holloway's legendary win streak or Gaethje after snapping Ferguson's historic win streak??

Only 13 fights in the UFC . Only 3 defenses. Never went up a weight class. Other than the controversial cejudo decision, DJ has only lost to fighters a weight class above. Let's see Khabib fight 4-5 top 10 welterweight fighters and see how he does. It might look like tibau all over again ;)

aren't nobodies.... Cariaso and Reis are probably the only mid or forgettable FLWs MM fought. And Cariaso beat Mizugaki @ BW and arguably beat prime Mayday before he dropped to FLW. Nobodies are literally half of Khabib's resume.

JoeB and Henry are very arguably better than anyone Khabib has beaten besides RDA. You think Gaethje or post filthy rich multiple years long layoff Conor are better than those 2? Dustin is probably the only case you can make really. What makes Gaethje a better fighter than someone like Dodson for instance? He has some of the worst grappling out there for a top ranked fighter. Literal white belt BJJ.

Khabib would never even test himself against bigger opponents like MM had to do in WEC and early UFC before FLW division got introduced. Or even a weight class apart against Mikinho yesterday with a sus weigh in. Khabib would rather have death cuts, seizures and towel gates to risk his life to make 155 than ever fight 170 in UFC when he most of his pre UFC fights were at 170.

Watch the joe fight. Cejudo got robbed and Joe was on top of the food chain. Pourier is good, but his wrestling has always been suspect. Cejudo's wrestling has always been amazing.

If we're gonna base it on wrestling ability and grappling wouldn't that make Khabib automatically better than DJ?

To be fair Kyoji was still green when he fought MM. He was kind of rushed the shot with how active MM was in defending the title. Kyoji's grappling got WAY better years later so he didn't really fight a peak Kyoji. Still a really good win tho.
