Just how good is Kevin Lee and where does he fit into the LW title picture ?

Following the move to WW by Donald Cerrone and his subsequent decline, the gates of the LW division have been torn wide open. Let us welcome the new Keeper of the Gate, Mr. Kevin Lee.

I can't think of someone better to crush those who do not belong in the upper echelons of the divisions, yet, the elite of the Lightweights would have no problem overcoming him, despite him detecting holes in their game.

too early to say that. like over half the division has been subbed by oliveira, no shame at all there.

He'll move back to 170, beat a decent fighter and say he's the real champ. Easy prediction.

It appears he’s a top 8-15 guy that can’t beat the very best but can beat everybody else. I guess that’s a gatekeeper. It’s not that bad though, still better than most that ever do it. But he won’t be champion.

kevin finally took someone's title. Cowboy

Jorge's a smart motherfucker. He's creating a storyline and picking a fight against a winnable opponent and recognizable name should he move to 170 lbs.

Jorge is used to fighting monsters at welterweight. He'll brutalize The Asian Phenom.

I still can't understand how is possible that 5 ft 9in (175 cm) tall man can miss weight at lightweight. Man this tall at the best level in MMA should never be heavier more than 170 lbs imo (that's aso the highest allowed weight for healthy BMI). How can you even run when you are as heavy as him at 185 lbs and more without damaging your knees permenantly? I know that he has the longest reach P4P in UFC history, but still, if you cant make weight in this class at that height, you will never be a champ.
