Don't get the hype. Sure he deserves respect for fighting so frequently in 2020, but most of his fights were against bums much like the rest of his record. Who has he beat? His best win is a old washed up Jacare Souza. Lost to Brendan Allen, not even top 15, by submission. Lost to Thiago Santos at MW where Santos controlled him on the ground lol also had a split decision against Meerschaert, the guy Khamzat knocked out in like 15 seconds. Nothing special about his striking, cardio, ground game, or anything really. Biggest strength is 6'3 height and 81" reach for MW division and he still looks average most of the time. Just had to put it out there, the hype is way overblown. Very good fight for Brunson and have a feeling the hype might end today.

I took Brunson, cause I see it that way also. We will certainly see soon.
Sherdog poll pretty much 3:1 Holland.

Haterz hes legit, you dont get a win streak like that easy in the UFC. Especially when most of them are last minute. Holland is legit.

He's a journeymen on a good winstreak. Flash in the pan. That's it.

Put what out?

Some people like to root for a guy who has a fun personality and is exciting to watch. What's wrong with that? No one said he was a world beater.

Try less salt next time

Get outta here with this salt bs, does your whole life revolve around trying to get likes on sherdog? Forum is straight up filled with losers nowadays, get over your shit.

Discuss properly and Im willing to do same. I have no issue with people rooting for the guy with his personality, I like it as well, hes very confident. Just because you agree he's not a world beater, doesn't mean everyone else thinks the same way. See a bunch of threads everyday hyping the guy, saying he's the next big thing and what not.

Like I said in original post, he deserves respect for frequently fighting in 2020, but what's he's shown in the octagon, he's a bit above average at best, hardly top 5. He brings entertainment with trash talk and what not, but for those talking as if he's gonna make a title run, it's laughable at best.

He has chance tonight that he’s a legit contender. I’m not sold yet but If he can beat Brunson emphatically he’s good in my book.

Nah he’s a very good fighter. Not great but improving.

You don’t have stoppage wins over guys like Jacare and Geoff Neal if you’re only above average. Tonight will tell us a lot.

Jacare was 1-3 when he fought Kevin Holland, a way past his prime Souza who is at the end of his career. Geoff Neal on the other hand, is a small welterweight while Kevin Holland is an oversized MW at 6'3 with a 81" reach. If he was to lose against Neal, it would've been embarassing. Respect your opinion and while I agree tonight will tell us a lot , those two wins are honestly not that significant in the grand scheme of things. At this point , any top 5 MW would starch Souza or 170 Geoff Neal as well obviously

Blah blah blah

Exercises. No “bit above average” fighter has done that to either man. GTFO. Neal is a 155er now? The current 205 champion couldn’t put Jacare away recently. Won a split decision. So, no. I very much doubt your analysis and this post confirms you’re taking out of your ass.
