I like both of these gis, but from what I hear they fit differently. I keep hearing that the Keiko is great for "taller, skinnier guys." I'm 5'11", about 185. Most of the guys in these reviews were 6'1" or so and like 175. Idk if I have the proper dimensions or whatever. Which gi do you think would fit better? I usually wear an A3 but hever never personally tried on either of these gis. Thanks for the help/advice.

I've heard that Keiko is best for the tall slim dudes. Braulio Estima wears them, and he's like 6'2 probably 185ish. That's about my dimensions, and I will go for an A3 I think. But would probably order A3 and A4, then just send back whichever doesn't seem like it will fit well after a wash. Let me know what you decide, cause I'm only a couple inches taller than you! I think A3 though if I remember right.

I'm 5'11, which is sort of a tricky height. Most of the size charts on the different companies websites list 5'11 as being on the fringe of the two sizes.

I have the gold weave Keiko, and am about 5"8-5"9, and the A2 fits well, you should get an A3 though

i own a vulkan lightweight gi and its a nice gi, but i dont really like the pants... to big and feels cheap, but the jacket is made well and surprisingly soft after a few minutes on the mat... personally i prefer the bad boy light weight or shoyoroll light weight... but as far as the vulkan, it could fit better, but im 6'4 180, so it will always be difficult to fit my size, but all in all, its 7 outta 10 in my mind

I have a Keiko Raca limited. A3. I am 6'2" and 185. After a hot wash and dry, the top fit perfectly. The pants shrunk a tad more than I wanted but are ok. I really like the way the gi fits, but will be more careful about the pants next time.

i have a vulkan light from last year, a keiko light from last year, and a keiko light from this year.

I am 6'4 and 220 and the A4 keiko fits perfect and I have no complaints about it.

so get the keiko summer gi or whatever.

I don't like the vulcan too much and they are a bit of flood pants.

I'm 5'11'' 180lbs. I got a Vulkan Ultra-light A3 and a Keiko goldweave A2. I wish I would have gotten the Vulkan in an A2.The Vulkan's material is nicer, but the cut is too 'puffy' like others have described. The pants are very unremarkable, but good enough. The Keiko's cut is really nice, a little on the tight side, but the A2 fits me really well. The gi material is much more courser than the Vukan's, however, which is not a big deal, but some people don't like it. I wish I could combine both gi's into a super-gi somehow.

I have both, but wish I would have bought a third Keiko instead of getting the Vulkan.

My vulkan ultra light sucks and the lapel got all weird and bunched up when I tried to shrink it a bit.

i have the Vulkan Ultra Light, and as everyone says, it does stretch a lot, especially if you're fighting against someone that uses a lot of spider guard attacks, i also own a keiko limited, and the fit is a lot better than the vulkan... 5'4 120lbs... i have to shrink them a lot... i'm debating on whether to get an atama mundial 9 or a keiko raca summer gi... i live in honduras and we sweat like mofos down here... i really just care about the fit and i do not like rip stop pants... my keiko's pants are great but they've shrunk a lot more than expected... the top fits great...

go for the keiko if you're slim
