Meaning 3 fights to be exact.

If he beats Leon Edwards in the rematch which is highly likely and he is the favourite and all he has to do is beat Khamzat Chimaev (With this fight only he can get there) followed by either Belel or another highly ranked WW there are really none currently he has beaten Burns, Colby, Masvidal and if he adds Khamzat Chimaev which will be the ground breaking one but nonetheless a legacy fight for Kamaru. he can add one of the two Shavkat or Belal which I believe he can beat both but it will be an additional bonus by beating just one of these is enough.

But if he was to beat Khamzat Chimaev convincingly in his defense then he will slowly enter the GOAT-talk and he follows that with one another defense against highly ranked opponent who he has not fought yet then without a doubt Kamaru Usman will enter the GOAT conversation

That's some big ifs for a 35 year old guy with two bum knees that was just sent to the shadow realm.

I mean, he couldn't even protect Wakanda from the sea people, even though Wakanda is landlocked

honestly what more do you want from the guy? If he wins these 3 future bouts he has done his part imho and should rightfully enter the GOAT conversation

I do believe he will have better wins then GSP all tho GSP will have one more title defense if he wins these 3 next fights
GSP defended 9 CONSECUTIVE times and won 13 UFC title fights including the MW title.
Usman has 5 defenses against only 3 opponents. None of GSP's defenses in his streak were repeat challengers. He beat the #1 contender and then moved to the next legit challenger. Usman beat Mas 2 x when he wasn't a legit #1 challenger, rematched Colby for no valid competitive reason and did a great job coming back from almost getting KO'd by Burns. GSP accomplished all of his feats aside from the MW title by 32. Usman didn't even fight a single top 10 contender until age 31 and was 32 when he won the title.

He isn't even ahead of Matt Hughes in the WW GOAT talks.

He'd still have to move up to 185 to be considered in the GOAT conversation. But he would solidify his status as All-time #2 at WW with a win over Edwards IMO. As far as chimaev, he's not going to make 170 again so that's not a fight to consider on his resume in the future.

Leon and Belal? yes
Ljamzat? lol, no.

I like his chances against Poatan. I think it might be an easy fight for him.

This. Even before he lost to Leon it was a joke to mention him and GSP in the same breath.

He'll have to hope for at least his next two fights to be an early finish wins for that scenario to occur imo.

GSP will be hard to catch, but I could see him getting past Matt Hughes soon tho, which would be pretty incredible tbh

Anti-GSP people tried to make it happen. 5 defences and calling him the GOAT. Even after the worst call out in UFC history.

That ship has sailed, buddeh. There is NO WAY Usman gets 10 title defences in a row.

That conversation is over for all time.
