Sorry guys but I like Paddy in this one. Even standing I think Paddy can take it. On the ground, Paddy dominates Gaethje.
BTW. Paddy is about -210 favorite.

I think paddy wins too but I dont think he wins on the feet. If it stays in the feet I got to favor Justin. But paddy will make it a grappling affair and he knows if he wins the intern belt it lines him up for the an actual title shot. I think he does what he has to win. Maybe a sub win for paddy in the later rounds (championship rounds).

I was on vacation this summer and was at the sports book at our resort in the Bahamas and started talking to this guy at the bar. Cool guy and as we were hanging out watching games and stuff he mentioned he has a friend that works for the UFC. I told him my background and how big a fan I am etc. and he starts telling me about how Gaethje came to a golf tourney they put on in Cali with his buddy, he was in their foursome, etc. Said Gaethje was absolutely getting high nonstop lol, loves golf, and was doing backflips off everything. Then he says "should we call him"? I'm like "seriously haha, hell yeah". So he texts him to call, and awhile later Gaethje replies "if you wanna talk, just fuckin' call me dickhead". So dude FaceTimes him and hands me the phone and there's Gaethje. Talked for a couple minutes, he was cool. No clue who I was but I told him I remember watching him back in the WSOF etc and he was like "Hell yeah man".

I'm counting on Gaethje showing some more signs of the high mileage he has on his MMA engine. Prime Gaethje is a clear favorite on the feet. Paddy has been improving each time out and is in his prime, Gaethje isn't. I think age will be a factor in this one.
