Shame about the ending but dustin really impressed me with his cardio and wrestling.

Dustin won that fight just like Frankie won the fight with Yair where he couldn't go on. Both were dominating so they've earned the victory.

I thought Pettis looked better than he has in years. Just ran up against a guy in Porier who is hitting it on all cylinders right now.

Great fight. Pettit should probably change camps too. Not that Duke is doing anything wrong but a fresh set of eyes and voices wouldn’t hurt.

I saw that Pettis went back to Duke Roufus in Embedded and was like "oh god, I guess Pettis is gonna lose again."

Yeah Pettis looked great but Poirier just came for no matter what but win

Porker is improving
Pettis is degrading
Man I love autocorrect.

Pettis needs to get luckier, and the only way is better conditioning to maintain IQ, footwork, and essentially just be there. I.e. Cheat better. I think he wants to fight but there's only so much his body can take.

That fight was incredible. Pettis looked fantastic, but Poirier just refused to be denied.

The grappling exchanges were amazing.

Straight up dog fight. Much respect to both of them.

Pettis needs to go visit TAM .. Sage hands and aggressiveness , and god Dam where did guida come from ..

dustin will be sub'd soon i just have that feeling .. pettis could have locked him up several different times..

Dustin has looked so much better since he's become a father, super focused and intense

im pretty sure hes been spending time down at jacksons - not that i should stop anyone from the narrative that he should change camps

was a really enjoyable fight. i notice that even when pettis is dealing with adveristy he always still pulls off sneaky high level shit. body gave out on him but hes a thousand times the man i am

makes me sad that guys are out there killing it in fights like that and all the hype goes to guys throwing childish insults around. that fight is what i want from mma, both guys were fucking awesome

I think Pettis should give another try to the FW division. He looked so small and he's not strong enough to stuffed TD's nowadays.

Poirier is a different animal. He's grown into his body, and fighting in a different weight class. He's 28 years old, just entering his prime, and has trained with the best of them over at ATT. One of the best all around fighters in the UFC with great cardio.

I'd like to see Poirier vs Alvarez 2 no matter what the outcome will be w/ Gaethje... He could face the winner of Khabib vs Barbosa or even Kevin lee. Either way, he's moving up the latter for title contention...

after the ref stopped it so the doc could take a look at the cut then restarted it and Pettis got that triangle choke I thought he was going to get it but the blood and sweat didn't help.
