Round 1 was under wrestling rules, Round 2 Judo. One can tell that the rules make a huge difference in the performances of the athletes, and each athlete looks like a complete newbie in the other guy's sport.

Impressive TDs from both but the uniform choices were WTF. Both athletes should have worn wrestling attire with shoes for the wrestling round, and judo gi with no shoes for the Judo round. As it was, this proved that current IJF rules Judoka don't know how to defend shots (which we already knew) much less when they're not wearing shoes. And a Judoka can gi grip the shit out of a wrestler in a gi and even more so when the Judoka is in nogi attire so the wrestler can't use grips himself.

However, the wrestler did hit a beautiful drop knee morote seoi using gi grips in the wrestling round (?).
