I'm glad he's resisting Trump's police state.
MAGA are so proud that Trump is attempting to shut down Democracy and it's really shameful. He campaigned on government transparency and no more wars, and here he is with one of the least transparent administrations and on pace for a record number of foreign conflicts, including already Iran and Venezuela.
It's wild to me that MAGA has basically been lied to by a con artist, but yet they blindly continue to support him.

I'd be way more interested in the $220 million in no bid contracts, the husband of the head of the DHS got from the DHS. That seems a much more likely place corruption and fraud occured

The Fed remodel, because remodeling is more expensive than building new, was initally budgeted at 1.9 Billion and no one had a problem with that. It jumped up 31% due to the amount of asbestos they uncovered as well as ground water issues to get it up to modern code and not be grandfathered in. A little research can help you understand things instead of being a nice useful idiot to be yoinked around by the chain with every one of Trump's lies.
Also Powell is the only thing saving the economic growth we're holding onto from blowing up. That's why Trump is using federal charges to attack political opponents.

Depends really on the scope of the building. Like do I want the government to do better at not wasting money, sure I think everyone does. However I believe it got approved in the budget first. I don't think any of us are fully aware of what the scope was, so its hard to say if the dollar amount is appropriate, but that also doesn't mean that it was all wasteful. I've been on much smaller projects where remodeling a building cost 10s of millions and could see a large project like that running a crazy amount. Sometimes building new is much cheaper than trying to remodel a build, especially if trying to remodel a building that is considered historical.
