Josh Burkman signs with UFC. WSOF??????

That's a rough loss for WSOF.

Spong aint taking an exclusive deal unless he is making big money to make up for it which imo he isnt worth. He'd get smoked by LHW grapplers.

And UFC isnt gonna let him do Glory. Actually the last time I remember seeing him say something he said he wanted a 1 fight deal, think it was after the Dublin card.

So asking for 1 fight deal, whats the point?
 
I don't know why, but I've never been too excited about WSOF. Hopefully Gaethje and Moraes are UFC bound and WSOF's MW division can migrate to Bellator - give Halsey some challengers.

MW has Okami, Branch and Elvis.

Okami is the only legit one for Halsey.

WW would give them depth, Palhares, Fitch, Shields, Carl, Ford, though Ford cant enter the US so that probably kills him to Bellator.

But Palhares, Fitch and Shield would give Bellator needed WW depth since after Lima, Koreshkov and daley that div has nothing else.

Have them all go to MW. Fitch, Shields, and Palhares - they've all been there before and their style suits it well for the division. I have no problem with Bellator trying to make WW a striker's division like SF did (besides for T-Wood). Just kept getting Diaz matches with strikers - no reason they can't do the same for Koreshkov and Lima.

Shields was more interesting fighting at MW anyway. A majority of his WW fights were all awkward split decisions.
 
And he gets to fight the # 3 guy in the world....sorry Ben

Yeah, WSOF doesn't have much longer left IMO.

I can see the UFC slowly signing all their top fighters.

Pretty bad when a guy like Josh Burkman leaving is what makes everyone think WSOF will go under.

Didn't Bellator already pass on all those fighters? Why would they take them now?
 
The NEW Bellator wants fighters than bring savage violence to the table.

Halsey choking dudes unconscious and being their diet Weidman is more of an asset to the promotion than a top 15 ranked guy winning every fight via takedown clinic decision.

Harris is a candidate and has a great gimmick for Bellator (they could even bring him out on a gurney ala Sabu in early ECW), but guys like Fitch, Okami and Shields....they don't really bring the pain or even much personality.

Because Bjorn isn't there waving his dick around anymore, competing in a crazy pissing contest with Dana White. Bellator sweems to be all for former UFC fighters now. Last nights card of the 4 main card fights there was a former Zuffa employee in every match.
