Not including his time fighting in backyards for shits and grins with Kimbo (may he rest in peace)

Jesus that's longer than most sherdoggers have been alive

Powerful Masvidal

Who would have thought a 2 fight win streak at this point would make him the next big thing.

I mean... he absolutely obliterated two of the top contenders in the division, and hasn't been finished in ten years - not to mention almost all of his losses were split decision dog fights

I remember years back arguing why he should have gotten the nod in multiple split decisions. Suffice to say 13 year vet Masvidal did not have the same kind of support as 16 year vet Masvidal.

Maybe there is still time for Erick Silva.

13 career losses, never won a title in the UFC, SF or Bellator (he's been in all 3 orgs), 5-4 in his last 9 fights. I'm not a hater, but those are the facts. As for losing close/controversial SDs, he has responsibility for that as well. He tends to coast and not do enough to win a convincing decision in close fights.

Is all the Ben former fanbase hyping Masvidal now?

That or Cerrone. Mas and Cerrone take turns having 2-4 win streaks, convincing people they've turned their careers around and are about to win a title, then go on to lose their next fight or 3. The only difference is Mas tends to lose boring decisions, while Cerrone gives his opponents highlight KOs.

Yes which makes you wonder what his record would look like if he didn't just sit back and coast in a lot of his fights.

I remember saying who's this dude that knocked out Yves?

Wow using Jesus’ name with those two bitchs. Doesn’t add up bro. Change your pic to a wore out goat and a box of rocks. Yes he’s been fighting longer than you been alive.
