So far, with Gane (uncomplete) and now Stipe (past prime), when he have some hungry and dangerous fighters to fight like Pavlovich or solid fighters like Blaydes waiting

I'm a bit disapointed by Jones vs Stipe, i mean, Stipe got koed by DC who got dominated by Jones

I want something new, Stipe should retire already

Ciryl Gane is pretty one dimensional and "uncomplete", but he is a very dangerous striker and a solid win. I agree Stipe is a bit too old, and a win against him won't be too impressive despite Stipe's accomplishments.

Jones vs Blaydes or Pavlovich are great fights

Stipe is 40 and you guys realize Jon is 35 right? Its not some case like 25 year old Jake Paul vs 48 year old Anderson Silva. Your MMAth of DC beating Stipe and Jon beating DC somehow leads you to Stipe is 100's of years older then Jon. Its only 5 years difference and at HW its the division where it makes the least difference.

He will run from the most dangerous HWs like he ran from Ngannou. The reason why he's so desperate to fight Stipe is because he's washed up, not because of how great he used to be.

Blaydes and Pav would be the most interesting matches. Stipe 2 or 3 years ago would be great too, now is def-ly past his prime.

Nah, here on Sherdog...Jones haters will say those two are washed up bums "past their prime" if Jones beats them...if Sherdoggers hate a certain fighter, they say and do anything to back up their side.

Pavlovich and Blaydes have no name. It is just pretty much Jones needs to fight someone until he loses. Jones is just going for legacy fights now. There is no other people in the division with a big name. Ideal situation for him was to beat Frank and Stipe.

i disagree. my 41 year old knees/ankles are a shell of what they were when i was 35. im 6'4" 215 pounds. not fat. work out routinely. a 5'5" person has little to no body breakdown compared to a taller heavier person. smaller people can keep weight off easier. tend to have higher metabolisms as well. which is why they tend to live 10-15 years longer than taller individuals. you dont see many 6'5" people at 95 years of age....hell i dont think ive ever seen one at all. shorter people have a more prodominated FOX03 genotype which helps regulate metabolism and helps to keep body fluids (insulin levels, cholesterol levels, and even testosterone etc in check). short peoples testerone tends to fall off way later than taller heavier people in nearly every study ever done. being shorter means you have have less cellular structure, fewer cells is easier to repair when you get older. taller people have more cellular structure which effects the ability for your body to repair itself. id say age affects heavyweights the most. could be wrong but i think the data shows what im saying is correct.

Ahahahahah how the narratives changed from Pre Gane fight to Post. Now It's "green" or "uncomplete" Gane and not the monster who was one of the best strikers the UFC HW division had seen and the "new breed" of HWs.
lol right? "Gane is going to put on a masterclass against Jones!" to "Gane is 1 dimensional and not even good at all."

Jones is dominant. He'll do the same thing to Blaydes, Pavlovich, Ngannou etc. ESPECIALLY at HW, Jones is too strong

He's called Bones for a reasonh. When he's in shape he's a skinny guy. This is his fat old guy phase

Jones is himself past his prime, so why wouldn't he face another all-time great past his prime as well?

A fight against Pavlovich, or Blaydes, does absolutely nothing for Jones' legacy.

Does this really need to be explained to you?

Aside from the fact Jones, literally, just annihilated another heavyweight in his prime (Gane), he is looking for legacy not to "work his way up the top."

It would be idiotic for him to face a bunch of nobodies that do nothing for his legacy at the twilight of his career.

Jones's legacy at HW will be almost nil if he fights Stipe and retires. Fight some real competition or GTFO.
